Our coaching method has been applied by the founder of LB Memory to go from French Level 1 to French Level 5 in a single summer. Studying 25 minutes per day for 80 days, our founder memorized thousands of vocabulary words and honed his grammar and speaking. He scored a 5 on the AP French Exam that spring as a 9th grader and has coached other students to similar results.
We recommend memory coaching for language students as early as possible. The sooner they learn the techniques, the sooner they will be able to excel, and the more they will be able to acheive over time.

Medical school can be intense, stressful, and busy. The amount of work is often compared to trying to drink from a fire hose, and with everything on your plate, signing up for memory coaching may not rank high on your to-do list.
The truth is that memory coaching will add more mental work and busyness to your already packed mind and schedule. So why do some students do it anyway?
These students know that the temporary extra challenge of developing the knowledge, skills, and habits required to supercharge their memory and performance is worth it in exchange for future years of higher performance.
Think of it like manufacturing a car. Building a car takes time, energy, and investment. But for the next decade or so of the vehicle's lifespan, it can reliably transport people from point A to point B in a small fraction of the time it would take to travel on foot.
Memory coaching can propel you through your studies much faster than normal, but it requires a willingness to invest some additional effort up front to build those capabilities.
We recommend coaching prior to medical school or during preparation for critical exams. Our students often score amongst the highest in the world on the Step 1 and 2 medical exams. To talk to other students who have gone through our program, contact us.
LB Memory started off coaching medical school and language students, and has since expanded to serve a variety of clientele interested in enhancing their memory performance.
A significant number of older adults use coaching to sharpen their memory for names and faces, facts and figures, dates, passwords, key information, and more. These adults learn a wide range of skills in our Foundations Program and work with their coach to hone areas for further improvement. A 93-year-old woman, Pam, used memory coaching to learn hundreds of names of people in her retirement community.
Anyone is welcome to sign up for coaching, and as with any LB Memory offering, the content will be tailored to your specific wants and needs. The focus is on improving your memory to be the best it can be, regardless of where your memory performance is now.
