If you've looked for brain improvement in the past, you're probably familiar with programs that encourage you to play games on your phone or computer. Maybe you've heard a particular supplement improves memory. Or maybe you've heard that playing games like Sudoku can keep your brain active and healthy.
We've talked to many adults who work on brain games in hopes of improving their memory, and they tell us they aren't sure whether it has any effect. Worse still, many of these adults tell us they don't even like brain games, but they "put up with them" in hopes of memory improvement.
LB Memory's approach is different. We believe in working directly on the cognitive skills you wish to strengthen, rather than playing random games and hoping it transfers to your abilities in the real world. Don't just hope that you'll remember more people's names from playing a video game, take control of your memory for names now by training the exact skills and brain workouts you need to achieve that goal. See the precise number of names you can remember go up in detailed reports from your coach.
A 93-year-old woman, Pam, used memory coaching to learn hundreds of names of people in her retirement community. When she started, she could remember no more than four or five names at a time. As coaching continued, she became faster at learning names and retained more of them. Pam used memory coaching to directly improve her performance, rather than playing brain games or taking memory supplements in hopes of an indirect memory boost.
Our clients use coaching to sharpen their memory for names and faces, facts and figures, dates, passwords, key information, and more. These adults learn a wide range of skills in our Foundations Program and work with their coach to hone specific areas for improvement.
Anyone is welcome to sign up for coaching. The focus is on improving your memory to be the best it can be, regardless of where your memory performance is now. As with any LB Memory offering, the content will be tailored to your specific wants and needs to maximize value.
